Libby, that's me there in the picture,loves to decorate that tasty edible fluffy moist stuff that everyone loves yep..... CAKE! I just love it! Its the biggest focal point at a party next to the presents, its tasty and the hardest thing to work with, no matter what you do to nurture and support that cake, all it wants to do is fall apart on you. When it does co-operate, you can create some really amazing tasty works of art.
I first started decorating cakes when I was 21, and got into it because of my famous Ooey Gooey Brownies, people loved them so much and the demand for them was so great, that people kept telling me to sell them and open up a shop, but I couldn't just sell brownies.
I researched on the internet for cakes and pies, and I was astonished at what you can do with cake these days, so much so that I decided to give it a go.... and well! lest just say all those years of studying fine art and graphic design were finally good for some thing.
I have now been a Cake artist for 5 years now, and I have never ceased learning and exploring, and yes I love it.

How much notice do I need to give? We normally ask for
a weeks notice for single tiered, two tiered cakes and cakes that require fondant decorations, and for intricate orders that will require 5 hours of construction time plus or sculpting, we advise customers to make an appointment with us, normally two weeks prior to the event.
